My Friend and Her Babies Need Help

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't checked my feedback or anything lately. Life's been rough and busy (I'm fine though). Let's just say that as a senior in high school, now's the time where I kinda have to start getting my shit together and thinking about my future and a job. I need to take care of a lot of personal issues right now. So yeah, I'm not really on the computer much anymore. I'm still alive, though!
Anyway. A more important message:
My friend needs help. Her dA account was deactivated a while back and so I'm basically posting this journal on her behalf. Her two furbabies, Star (recently rescued from her abusive parents) and Zephyr (her adorable and huge puppy) need medical bills payed and my friend can't really afford to pay all of them. She's opened up a fundraiser for the two, and all I'm asking is that you go check it out and see what you can do. These guys are REALLY important to her, they're her children and her entire life. Whatever you can spare, please help out.

Hi everybody! I know it's been forever since I've posted anything on here, but I'm (mostly) back.
Friends! I'd like to announce to you, that for the first time ever, I've found time to open up commissions!!
Please note that I will only draw animals. I prefer to draw felines (and big cats) and canines (including foxes and wolves) but I'm open to others.
I've got the following slots open:

Anthros - Yes, though my gallery is filled with tons of anthro characters, I refuse to draw them for others because of past experiences. I draw anthro characters MY way, and people often get frustrated because I don't draw their character's boobs or butts "big enough". I don't draw "sexy" stuff. Sorry. If you wanna talk about it, note me.
Humans - I don't like drawing them, and I don't like how they come out. I'm an animal artist, not a human artist.
Porn/Sexy/Sexual Themes - I'd just.. rather not get into that.
Fanarts - I draw fanart of stuff I'm a fan of, if I'm not a fan, I really don't want to draw it. I'd rather stick to OCs.
A style other than my own - It's my art and I draw it how I want to, otherwise, why are you commissioning me? I will not draw your character in YOUR style, My Little Pony style, Sonic the Hedgehog style, chibi, or any other existing style besides mine.
Art against what I stand for - Plain and simple. If you aren't sure, feel free to ask about it.
Hate Art - I'm not going to draw you a picture that is against another person. That's bullying.
Realistic pieces - I'd like to work with cartoons.
Some things to be aware of:
Progress - Please don't ask me if you can look at how your picture is coming out. The answer will be no. You're asking for a commission from me because you like my style and trust that I can do your character justice. Why all of the sudden do you think I'm going to screw it up? It's my artwork, so it SHOULD come out a little- or a LOT- different than yours.
Give me time - Seriously. I can't poof your commission into existence. It takes time, which we all know takes time to find. It also takes plenty of my resources (pencils, paper, markers, etc.) which I may have to go to the store and buy, which again takes time. So please, don't ask me how it's coming alone, or if I've started.
Be specific - I'm not a mind reader, so, word for word, describe exactly what you want. Our minds work differently.
Payment - I'm probably going to ask you to pay BEFORE if start working on your piece. Why? Because I have been ripped off many, many times. I'm still really pissed about it..
Paper Color - Tan-toned.
Price - 2000 
per character (it's equal to $25, that's not bad!)

Renfield Has Gone to Sleep..

Last night, when I opened the little door to his house, I couldn't find him. When I looked closely he was laying on his side under his wheel, cold. My little cotton ball was dead.
Two years ago I rescued him from a horrible tank filled with other mice just like him, who could barely move. There were no bars to climd, no bedding, nothing. They were being kept only until a reptile owner would come and buy one to feed to their snake, alive. Saving Ren didn't even feel good at first because there we still SO MANY lives left for dead. But at least I saved one..
When I first got him he was sooo tiny and I was afraid to hold him because he was so hyper and jittery. He never tried to escape, though, and I became VERY attached to him.
I did just about everything (indoors) with him, and sometimes I would sit outside on my driveway or go get the mail with him. He was such a sweet little friend. I took him out EVERYDAY. I'd play video games while he slept in the hoods of my jackets, or draw while he crawled around on my desk.. He was just like a little man, he had so much personality and rarely hated anything. He was so organized and cleaned out his little condo whenever he was unsatisfied with the bedding up there- and would throw out all the old pieces at me so I could throw them away. He was so smart.
I'm also very happy about the one time he escaped. No, I'm not saying that it's a good thing when a mouse escapes, but looking back, I'm glad he got to see my entire house. I had to go stay at my mom's house for two days and I guess he found a way to get out, cause I swear his little house was closed. He knew how to take care of himself for those two days by eating my favorite cereal.
When I came back, he came out from his little excursion. He had the cutest little look on his face.
I kind of saw this day coming.. I'm not sure his exact birthdate (since the people I bought him from where to careless to figure out) but I know that it passed like a month before my spring break because I bought him when I was a freshman during that time. He was 2 years old, so I know he lived a full life, but I just hoped he'd live longer. He's been looking to droopy and tired lately, he stopped holding his head up for me to tickle his little chin like he used to do. He stopped running in his wheel almost a month ago.. He time was coming, but it still hurts me so much. He was my little buddy. He was just so playful and sweet and always made me feel better.
Before he died he must have known.. I think he did. He must have crawled behind his wheel, because I know that was his safe haven, and lied down to sleep there. I wish I could have said goodbye. I hope that he knows that I loved him so much, and that his tiny size never mattered to me once, and he was always my best friend, along with Stayne.. He was never afraid of my cat. My cat was afraid of him. ... Renfield, you were so powerful, and still are. I love you so so much, my little angel..
